Orion
An analyst, not a chatbot.
Ask about your wells, your paperwork or the state's record and get an answer you can check.
How it works
- 01
Ask in plain words.
Type or say it, the way you'd ask a person.
- 02
Orion pulls the records.
Your data and the RRC's, with the source named.
- 03
It does the math.
Declines, rankings and charts, worked out, never guessed.
- 04
You approve any change.
Nothing is saved until you say so.
01On every page
Every record, one question away.
Open Orion beside any page in the app and ask about the wells, tickets and statements behind it.
- Wells and production
- Volumes, tests, equipment, downtime and service history for any well.
- Money
- Statements, invoices, the ledger and live oil and gas prices.
- "This tank" means this tank
- Point at what's on screen instead of naming it.
02The state's record
The RRC, in the same chat.
Compare your wells with every operator, lease and permit in Texas without leaving the chat.
- Offsets in seconds
- The wells near yours, with their production history.
- New activity nearby
- Permits, completions and SWD volumes by county or operator.
- Moves the map for you
- Ask for a county or an operator and Recon goes there.
03Works the problem
Shows the math, not adjectives.
Declines, rankings and log picks are calculated and charted, so you can act on them.
- Decline on demand
- A 12-month forward decline for the company, a lease or a well.
- Tops and pay
- Orion reads the whole LAS and quotes depths that are in the file.
- Charts from your numbers
- Every chart is drawn from records Orion pulled, never from typed figures.
04Asks first
Nothing saved until you approve.
Orion drafts the change and you approve it, so nothing lands in your books by surprise.
- One card per change
- Plain English, with every field shown before you decide.
- Big jobs, one decision
- A 250-row batch is one card, with every row listed.
- You set the limits
- Switch off any area or action and Orion can't touch it.
05Does the work
Anything you can do, it can.
Log a gauge, add a well, assign a task or schedule a report just by asking.
- Field records
- Gauges, run tickets, meter readings, well tests and downtime.
- Wells and people
- Wells, leases, owner interests, contractors and royalty owners.
- Office work
- Tasks, calendar events, notes, documents and report schedules.
Questions
- Can Orion change a record on its own?
- No. Every change is a card you approve or deny, and nothing is saved until you approve it.
- Does it make up numbers?
- It answers from your records, says when it finds nothing, and cites the record it used.
- What can it read?
- Your company's records, the Texas RRC record, your files and logs, and the web when you ask.
- Does it learn how we work?
- Yes. It keeps notes on your operation and the jobs you walk it through, and you can edit or roll back any of it.
- Can I talk to it?
- Yes, hands free. Talk over it and it stops, and it reads each change out for you to approve aloud.
- How is it billed?
- In credits, where one credit is one cent. Each plan includes 10,000 to 50,000 a month, and you can buy more any time.
